  • Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel finally arrives in March 2019 as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first movie headlined solely by a woman, character played by American actress Brie Larson.

The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Universe.

  • A Private War

One of the most celebrated war correspondents of our time, Marie Colvin is an utterly fearless and rebellious spirit, driven to the frontline of conflicts across the globe to give voice to the voiceless.

Rosamund Pike plays war journalist Marie Colin in this biopic.

During the final 11 years of Sunday Times foreign correspondent Marie Colvin’s life, she struggles with PTSD and the loss of an eye, while continuing to report from war zones like Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria, where she strives to expose the true human cost of modern conflict to the world.

Her mission is to show the true cost of war, driving her, along with renowned war photographer Paul Conroy (Jamie Dornan), to embark on the most dangerous assignments of their lives as they journey to the front line of conflicts across the globe.

  • Avengers : Endgame

Prepare yourself for the epic finale to the battle between Marvel’s biggest superheroes and their greatest foe, Thanos—an anticipated close to the MCU’s current plot line that will certainly bring about the departure of many of the series’ biggest stars.

After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe.

  • X-Men : Dark Phoenix

In Dark Phoenix, the X-MEN face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey.

During a rescue mission in space, Jean is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, Grey begins to develop incredible powers that corrupt and turn her into a Dark Phoenix. This force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable.

Now the X-Men will have to decide if the life of a team member is worth more than all the people living in the world.

  • Spiderman : Far From Home

Given how intense the first three films have been (particularly Avengers: Infinity War), fans will be expecting an impressive adventure from the actor’s second solo outing, and Marvel Studios appears to be filling out the cast of the high-profile sequel with that in mind.

Peter Parker and his friends go on summer vacation to Europe, where Peter finds himself trying to save his friends against a villain known as Mysterio.

  • Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

Quentin Tarantino’s ninth feature film is a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt).

You know the story already : five people murdered over the course of two days that August, shot and stabbed by a clan of hippie impressionables in anticipation of Helter Skelter, Charles Manson’s idea of holy terror. It’s a Hollywood tale—not least because its most famous victim, the pregnant actress Sharon Tate, was the wife of director Roman Polanski, which put the terror square in the back lot’s backyard.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will be released in July.

  • It : Chapter Two

It: Chapter Two focuses on the first film’s childhood friends, who return home as adults to confront the supernatural killer Pennywise the Dancing Clown, who terrorized them years earlier.

Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, and Bill Hader play the adult versions of the kids who were terrorized by Pennywise in the first half of Stephen King’s epic. In the second installment, the shapeshifting entity proves he has some unfinished business to take care of.

  • Star Wars : Episode IX

It’s fair to say that Star Wars Episode IX is one of the most eagerly-anticipated movies in history, with the upcoming film set to cap off the Skywalker saga after decades of onscreen storytelling.

The plot of the film is currently a mystery, though fans can expect the conclusion of the Resistance’s battle against the First Order as well as Rey’s complex relationship with tortured villain Kylo Ren.

  • Toy Story 4

Have you recovered from the weepy ending of Toy Story 3? Prepare for another installment, which sees Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang embarking on another toy-out-of-the-box adventure.

A new toy called “Forky” joins Woody and the gang, a road trip alongside old and new friends reveals how big the world can be for a toy.

  • The Lion King

Jon Favreau’s live-action Disney remake is the one everyone is really waiting for, with early reviews from sneak peeks claiming it’s as stunning as the animated original. And there’s also the cast: Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé as Nala, and James Earl Jones returning as Mufasa.

Don’t wait to watch this timeless movie which is scheduled to come out in July 2019.
